Superb opportunity for an individual to join the friendly team at Arriva TrainCare’s train depot in Crewe on a permanent contract.
Working as part of the Light Maintenance Team, as a Fuel Point / Vehicle Servicing Assistant you will take on a varied role, that includes efficiently operating the fuel point and CET plant to deliver the highest possible performance as a team member. Cover the Operational Controller duties as and when required. Carry out overnight servicing on a variety of customer trains, including, but not limited to the replenishment of coolants, oils, fuels, sanding systems and Screenwash
The Package
You will be employed on a permanent contract working an average of 37 hours a week from 19:00 to 06:00 on a 4 on 4 off night shift roster.

Our Requirements - Fuel Point / Vehicle Servicing Assistant
Previous experience in and understanding of rail vehicle maintenance activities, ideally with an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering or BTEC / City & Guilds equivalent-
A solid understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental standards

Ability to problem solve and communicate well as part of a team and on your own
