We are currently looking to recruit to the following position:
Domestic Abuse Practitioner
Base : East CAMBRIDGESHIRE
Barnardo's are looking for an exceptional individual to work with and support high risk families as part of the Family Safeguarding team at Cambridgeshire County Council.
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience of empowering, motivating change and understanding challenge within high risk families.
- Knowledge and understanding of Domestic abuse and how this impacts victims and children.
- A desire to work with a multiagency approach to improve the lives of children and families.
- Drive to offer a range of 1-1 and group interventions to provide better outcomes for children.
The successful applicant will support victims, enabling them to recognize forms of abuse, support to make changes to safeguard their family and understand the impact it can have on children.
