Job Description
Libraries, Museums and Galleries is seeking a highly organised individual capable of taking ownership of tasks to join the department's Business Support Team.
Reporting to the Business Support Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of your own work ensuring that all tasks and duties are professionally managed/completed accurately and on time, whilst ensuring that correct procedures are followed and in line with University & departmental policies. You will be a key member of the Business Support Team who are a centralised function within Libraries, Museums and Galleries who provide support for a range of functions ranging from Finance, Human Resources, Health & Safety, record keeping and wider departmental support.
The remit of the team is diverse and wide-ranging and requires collaborative working with a number of internal and external stakeholders at all levels to contribute to the effective delivery of LMG¿s strategic objectives. The department is comprised of the following sections: Academic Liaison, Customer Services, Education, Museums & Galleries, Research, Content & Discovery and Special Collection & Archives.
This post is for 32 hours per week and fixed term until 31st December in the first instance.
