- Hours Of Work: 16.5 hours per week

Job description-
Working as part of a wider retail team, generate income from the charity shop for the benefit of older people in the city of Manchester.
To be responsible for the day to day management of a small retail store, including the management and pricing of the stock, and the taking of cash from sales.
To help drive our e-commerce department, selling on multiple online platforms.
To assist in upcycling and repurposing donated stock, creating unique pieces to sell in the store.
To ensure that the Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety policies of Age UK Manchester, as they apply to the shop situation, are adhered to.
To work with other members of the team to improve the effectiveness of Age UK Manchester, providing relief cover for other members of the team.

We are looking for a motivated, creative and dynamic individual to help run our new “Curiosity Shop” at Hatch, helping to generate funds for activities supporting Manchester’s older people.
This is a unique opportunity for those interested in sustainable fashion and ethical shopping. We would love to give this opportunity to someone who can bring their own creative flair to the role, with a platform to try new ideas through upcycling and repurposing items donated through our charity shops.
The ideal candidate will be honest, trustworthy and have:
- Retail experience
- Experience selling online
- Experience upcycling fashion / homeware
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good standard of numeracy
