We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Store Support Centre in Bracknell. To be successful in this role, we do require candidates to have previous Category Management experience. The role offers hybrid working, with 60% office based and 40% home working.
About the role …
Our Category Managers are responsible for the development and delivery of the Merchandising plan for given categories; range assortment, and range management for customers for Sally Europe that maximises category and business performance. You will be responsible for the categories activity and routes to market - sales reporting, range reviews, range assortment (routes to market), store range assortment, promotional plans, own brand development plans, pricing and product file maintenance.
Key Responsibilities …
- Undertaking regular review of given categories to optimise ranges in order to grow sales and margin
- Delivery of new ranges and assortment reviews
- Develop category plans that detail the tactical execution of plans to achieve business set KPIs
- Analyse competitor and market activity in relation to product ranges, brand development and pricing structures
- Review of promotional activity and implement learnings to improve promotional and margin performance
- Accountable for exit management of deleted lines both at store and in warehouse(s)
- Collaborate with the Space and Visual Merchandisers to ensure that visual merchandising principles and guidelines are issued to stores
- To work with the supply chain teams to deliver or exceed the budgeted category year end stock number
