Salary: Grade R1 from: £33,919 to £ 35,822 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £44,663 per annum inclusive of London Weighting. (Pro-rata)
Part-time (0.5 FTE), Fixed-term (9 months)
The Evaluating Student Knowledge Exchange (ESKE) project is looking to recruit a research assistant to help with data collection, analysis and curation. This role requires the skills to develop and maintain a website and liaise with a range of stakeholders including former refugees. You will also be asked tdo play a significant role in the organisation and delivery of a conference on knowledge exchange. You will have excellent writing, editing and general project management skills. In addition, it is desirable that you have experience working with individuals whose first language is not English. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be excellent. As a natural problem-solver, you will have the ability to develop work arounds when connections or technologies do not work as anticipated. The role requires liaising with international partners, academics and students and with people who may be located in areas with poor connectivity. The role is 0.5 FTE which can be worked flexibly with consultation with the project lead. International experience is highly desirable as is an understanding of the challenges faced by former refugees.
