Role background

This is a highly commercial role, supporting the SMT on the development of the data insight, analysis, and visualisation within the business, which will involve a great deal of interaction with the senior team.

Reporting into the Commercial FC the role holder will initially have responsibility for the preparation and evolution of a large number of Tableau dashboard views, based on an AWS database that has already been put in place. This is a key role within the business.

Hours
Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
Office Based. min 3 days office presence required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on the design, build, advancement, and management of our analytics and visualisation suite in Tableau.
  • Proactively consulting with members of the senior management team, to agree on data views and produce these.
  • Working across broad ranges of data to identify patterns and trends
  • Mastering our proprietary data solutions
  • Ensuring we are making the most of technology and tools within your area of expertise, striving to advance our solutions, products and services, and bringing innovation.
  • Showing commercial acumen by highlighting commercial opportunities to help increase profitability.
  • Providing coaching to the users to develop understanding

Key attributes

  • Excellent Tableau skills and a thorough knowledge of SQL are very important to be successful in this role.
  • Auditing, designing, and developing visualisation solutions.
  • Confident and engaging communication skills across all communication channels.
  • Hands-on database management and analysis
  • An accountancy qualification would be helpful but is not a necessity however being able to demonstrate a sound commercial ability in the use of data to drive profitability is required. Ensuring that data views reflect what is actually going on in the P&L
  • Excellent Excel skills and IT skills generally able to analyse and interpret large data sets.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion and desire to be part of the Superbike Factory story
  • Technically strong and excellent academics (graduate)
  • Challenge the status quo and look to improve the reporting environment.
  • Able to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-moving environment
  • Self-starter, commercially focused and solution orientated
