This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse/ AHP to work as a moving and handling trainer within the Occupational Health and Safety Service of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The post holder should have a desire to work within this field and should have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience. The post holder will deliver moving and handling training to new staff recruited by the Board. This training is mandated by the Health and Safety Executive and is critical for the safety of staff and patients. The role will also include training key members of staff to become competency assessors within their own areas. You will have exemplary communication and organisational skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to the delivery of this training. You will work with experienced trainers to understand all aspects of moving and handling training.
