We have exciting opportunities for Care Assistants at our vibrant and friendly care home, Magnolia House, near Hull. Located in the village of Cottingham, with excellent transport links (including a bus stop right outside), Magnolia
House is a 94-bed residential care home with a dedicated dementia care unit.
With an already strong and close-knit team, we are seeking dedicated, passionate, and experienced individuals who boast the following:
- function well as part of both small and large staff teams;
- operate under their own initiative, making care delivery decisions without senior carer involvement;
- work flexible hours;
- maintain a professional and courteous manner when working under pressure;
- proficient with computerised care recording systems, such as PCS -
Person Centred Software;
- compassionate character, for whom providing care is their calling;
- open to new ways of working for the benefit of our residents;
Successful candidates ideally will have:
- A MINIMUM of NVQ Level 2 Care Certificate or “actively ” working towards this.
- Willing to work towards and NVQ Level 2
- Prior experience in a similar role or through college work experience placements an advantage. Not essential with drive and passion to learn.
- A stable, prior employment or job placement record.
