About the Role
Working in our Glasgow unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring that flights are fully catered and depart on time. You will be responsible for handling, preparing food to the standard set by each of the airlines we serve within a specified time.
As a Chef in our team you will support development and help produce meals for first, business and economy class airline customers and participate in food presentations to airline customers.
We will provide you with regular training, development and mentoring by experienced members of the dnata team and our training partners this will support your future career growth within hospitality.
This is a full time role, shifts will be on a rota basis and will include a mixture of evening and weekends. You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days per week, 8 hour shifts. Whilst on shift you will receive free meals and hot drinks.
Optional overtime will also be available at enhanced rates.

About You:
You will be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. You will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team
You must have:
A passion for food and a desire to work with a high performing team and be part of that team!
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
Willingness to learn
If you are successful we will provide you with full training on all our processes and systems. As part of our recruitment process we carry out a full 5 year employment check and criminal records check on all successful applicants in order to comply with Civil Aviation Authority regulations. This can take up to 4 weeks to complete
