What does the job involve?
You will manage a team of Retail Managers and Business Managers, using effective people processes in order to give a world class Colleague experience:
- You will ensure the colleague headcount is in line with budget.
- You will ensure the full customer Journey is followed at all times in order to deliver a world class customer experience.
- You will maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring you and colleagues comply with Health and Safety requirements.
- You will act as FCA Supervisor for the store, ensuring legal and financial compliance.
- You will effectively schedule Colleagues for full coverage and rest allowance, ensuring positive work life balance.
- You will follow the recruitment and on boarding process to recruit new Colleagues as required.
- You will monitor and manage attendance of the team, carrying out return to work and conducting attendance review meetings when required.
- You will manage the performance of your team in order to achieve targets and demonstrate positive behaviors through 1-2-1 meetings, coaching sessions, performance improvement plans, observations etc.
- You will conduct training and development sessions with your team and ensure that there is continued ongoing support.
- Complete Talent Assessments in order to identify talent for a succession plan.
- You will be the key driver for the sales performance – set goals, monitor performance and provide support, coaching and development wherever it is needed.
- You will accurately use management information systems.
- You will monitor, manage and follow up on re-solicitation performance for the team.
- You will work collaboratively as a Senior Management team to deliver excellence in the store.
- You will deputise for the Head of Business when required to do so.
- You will support other areas of the store as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£53,000.00 per year
