Job Description
We’re on the lookout for some artists to help run some of our events!
Crafternoon painting experiences are laid-back, freestyle workshops for adults in London. We host private and public events all over the city and provide an inclusive and relaxing environment for people to tap into their inner artists.
Ideally the perfect host will be very organised, super friendly and have a decent understanding of acrylic painting. You’ll be setting up the space, guiding groups of 15-30 beginner artists and then clearing up afterwards. It’s a really fulfilling freelance role that requires a positive attitude and an equal love for people and painting.
Experience in event management/coordination preferred. You'll be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all the artists, providing guidance where needed. It's a relatively manual job with some furniture rearranging at the start, and the need to be on your feet 'doing the rounds' all afternoon!
It's a really fun and fulfilling role, perfect for an art student or someone with a career in events just looking for a sociable side-hustle.
We'd love for someone to come along and really take Crafternoon by the reins, with scope for more responsibilities within the business but for now are looking for a purely operational role to help with our expansion.
Full driving license and own vehicle preferred but not necessary.
£100 per event (5-6 hours work), with travel expenses paid.
Freelance work dependent on artists' availability.
